We had an interesting meeting with local writer Robert Stone. He is looking to turn his script into a film using a mix of first-time and experienced actors. One Man was apparently selected (although unsure which category he fits into) to play old skool well-known businessman Johnny Harris, rival to an upstart young crew who are looking to take over the more lucrative parts of his empire. Other factions are also involved so loyalties and attitudes are in a state of flux throughout the film. His Dog is being considered for a cameo as a K9 not averse to eating human body parts. One Man is slated to fight one of the lead characters, a somewhat ripped thirty-year-old, with possibly predictable results. One thing about the production that definitely rings true is the timescale, first main casting meeting is eight weeks hence. Watch this space!
